Take The Cookie Challenge!
Now we know that if you are reading this, it means that you must have had experience in selling Girl Scout Cookies! What we are looking for here is to record "your" experiences with the transportation of your troop cookie order. Or...just how many cases of Girl Scout Cookies can you get in your car, van or truck? You know the story. Your troop sells 150 cases of cookies and you are off to Cookie Station to pick them up, bring them back to your gararge, and count them out for the girls in your troop. The odds are good that you do not have a troop of twenty-six girls and drive a Yugo, but we will conceed the possibility! The idea should, and probably does, occur to you that there may be a problem in getting those 150 cases into your car! You have your Assistant Leader follow you in her mini-van after removing all of the seats from it. You have your husband meet you there with his Grand Prix, but you are still wondering if they will still all fit! What if it is raining when you have to pick them up? What if you have to make several trips to get them all? You can sort of see the stress building up and you learn to recognize that look all over the face of a first-time Cookie Manager walking into your Cookie Station and seeing the mountains of boxes stacked there! But a lot of you are old-timers and have had the cookie experiences before. This is your chance to share those pearls of wisdom with new leaders and cookie managers. You have hauled those cookies before, so you already know what to expect. You know how to get them in and get them home and get them sorted! Our hats are off to all of you for the tremendous amount of work that this involves! Now, please share your secrets with us. How do you make it happen? With your assistance, we can fine-tune the chart above for those following in our footsteps!
