Workshop Goal:
By the end of this workshop the participants will be better able to understand the workings of the Internet and the importance of its usage for the Girl Scouts organization.
Objectives:
Identify the history, language, basic functions and etiquette of the Internet.
Learn to safely navigate the Internet as suggested in Safety-Wise.
Identify the tools and resources that both girls and leaders can use to learn more about Scouting on the Internet.
Learn the basics behind website construction.
